Friday questioned by the CBI in connection with IRCTC hotel contract scam case.
Tejasvi, also the son of senior RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav, appeared before
the CBI here around 1100 hrs. The probe agency had on Thursday questioned RJD
chief Lalu Prasad in connection with the same case. The case allegedly
involving the father and the son relates to irregularities in the award of
contract of two Railway hotels in Ranchi and Puri to Patna-based Sujata Hotels
in 2006. Mr Prasad was Railway Minister in 2006 when the hotels were first
transferred to IRCTC and then to the company. According to the CBI charge sheet,
the accused misused their offices to ensure that the contract was given to
Sujata Hotels in lieu of a three-acre commercial property in Patna. The
property was acquired through a company Delight Marketing Company. Tejasvi's
