Jammu, October 7: BJP State President & MLA Jammu West Constituency, Sat Sharma along with Party Chief Whip & MLA Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta toured areas of Krishna Nagar, Science College and adjoining areas to take stock of the ongoing construction work of Krishna Nagar Nallah. Other senior leaders and officials of concerned departments also accompanied the MLAs during the inspection.
Sat Sharma, while inspecting ongoing construction work, asked officials to maintain high standards of quality. He said that it is hard earned money of tax payers that is used in these works, so every penny must be accounted for. He called upon the locals and market associations to keep a vigil on quality of materials used along with competence and sincerity of executing authority, with what present work is being executed on ground. He also asked locals to report any type of inferior quality or any negligence inducted in execution of work.
Sat Sharma said that he is aware of difficulties faced by residents and market along with commuters, vehicles or pedestrians passing from area during flooded times and assured that soon every possible measure will be taken to mitigate sufferings with stress on avoidance of pathetic situation in future.
He insisted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent a strong message to all functionaries of Government, be it elected representatives or administration that every body is accountable and gone are days, when evenntop brass could easily mumble out that only 10 paise reaches out of 100 paise released from Centre and such is vision of clean and good governance.
Rajesh Gupta asked the public gathered on the spot that BJP is committed to all around development of Jammu City and is working on both long and short term policies for the same. He appealed to masses to not to throw solid waste into drains to check future plugging of system and contribute for beautification of the City of Temples.
ExEn UEED Rajesh Gupta accompanied with other senior officials of UEED, BJP State Vice-President Parmodh Kapahi, Mandal President Jeet Angral, Asha Rani, Kuldeep Balgotra and others also accompanied the MLAs during the inspection.
