Delhi, Oct 21: Delhi Metro services were affected on Blue Line for 45
minutes on Saturday morning due to a technical snag at Rajiv Chowk metro
station, resulting in hardship to the commuters. According to a DMRC
spokesperson, Pantograph of a train got entangled in Over Head Electrification
(OHE) between Rajiv Chowk and RK Ashram section on down line (going from Dwarka
towards Noida) while approaching Rajiv Chowk station at around 0920 hrs. 'As a
result, train services were regulated on Line-3 between 0920 to 1005 hrs in
short loop between Yamuna Bank & Noida/Vaishali, between Karol Bagh &
Dwarka Sec-21 and in single line between Karol Bagh & Yamuna Bank section,'
the spokesperson said. 'OHE team undertook the restoration work in affected
section on down line and train was removed from service at 1005 hrs,' he said.
'Normal train movement now restored on entire Line-3,' the spokesperson added.
