Two killed, ten injured as bus falls into gorge in Himachal

Shimla, Oct 21: Two people, including a woman, were killed and ten others sustained serious injuries after a private bus carrying 14 passengers plunged into a deep gorge at Chari arena of Rampur in Himachal Pradesh on Saturday morning. The deceased were identified as Devi Singh(47) and Kanku(53) . According to police, the incident took place at around 0530 hrs when the bus started from Nankhari and after traveling four kilometres drive lost control on the wheel and it plunged down 100 feet down the road in a gorge. The cause of accident is yet to be ascertained. Injured including the driver and conductors were rushed to hospital where they are under treatment, police added. UNI
