"If there was a tradition of schools visit instead of 'temple' before the elections, every child of the country would get better education," AAP senior leader Manish Sisodia said in a tweet reacting to frequent visits of both Congress and BJP leaders including Mr Gandhi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to temples in the run up of the Gujarat Assembly polls, scheduled to be held in two phases on December 9 and 14.
Mr Sisodia's statement comes a day after Mr Gandhi's Somnath temple visit controversy that he had signed visitor's book at the temple as a 'non Hindu'.
On Wednesday, Mr Sisodia, who holds the Delhi Education Minister portfolio, expressed happiness that ‘education’ was discussed by politicians who keep discussing issues of cremation and graveyard.
He had also thrown open challenge to BJP and Congress ruled governments across the country to compete with Delhi government in the field of education. UNI
