Official sources told UNI that the motorcyclist was hit by a vehicle at Pattan in Baramulla, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist, identified as Irshad Ahmad Mir.
Mir was immediately taken to a local hospital from where he was referred to S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Srinagar in a critical condition.
However, they said Mir succumbed to his injuries at the Srinagar hospital on Friday.
After completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.UNI
