Our forces effectively responding to Pak firing

Jammu, Nov 3: Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police S P Vaid on Friday said security forces are effectively responding to the cross border firing.

"Our security forces are alert, effectively responding to the Pak-sponsored firing on borders," the DGP here

told reporters at the sidelines of wreath laying ceremony of BSF jawan yesterday martyred in Pak firing in Samba sector.

The police chief said, "Our forces are foiling the nefarious designs of the Pakistan."

On killing of a district youth president of BJP on Thursday by the militants in Kashmir, Dr Vaid said, "The culprits are not yet identified but the matter is being investigated."

Earlier senior officers from BSF, J&K Police, administrative wings laid wreath at the mortal remains of the martyred BSF personnel. UNI
