Jalna,
Maharashtra, Nov 8: Caste, language and sects are not the identity of the
Hindus but unity in integrity is, Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak
Sangh (RSS) Dr Mohan Bhagwat has said here.
He was addressing a congregation of the RSS called 'Samarsata Sangam' late last
evening when he said, 'We all are one and the truth should be brought to the
world by making the Hindu community casteless' Dr Bhagwat appealed to the
people. The dais was shared by Mahanta Ramgiri Maharaj, Gangadhar Pawar and district
unit chief Sunil Goyal. At the outset Dr Bhagwat was welcomed by offering a
book written by Ramgiri Maharaj and a garland. Underlining the importance of the Indian culture, school of thinking and broad
vision Dr Bhagwat said that the coming era will be of the Hindus only and it is
to be proved to the entire world. 'Many attempts were made to eradicate the
Hindutva but failed', he added. The Hindu community remained unorganised because of division on the basis of
caste, sects, anguages and traditions. He called for a need of changing the vision of the people to attend Artha
(economic progress), Kama (desires) and the Moksha (salvation). Referring to the various schools of thinking he said that because of the caste
barriers, the community could not be organised together. 'The RSS is not based
on the caste but on the Hindutva concept', he said. He appealed to the people
to use the strength to eradicate the criminals and use the character for
conserving the culture of the country. Ramgiri Maharaj praised the working of the RSS and appealed to the spectators
to use the Indian products only. Rajendra Kalkate gave a preparatory speech. The programme was conducted by Bhushan Hiwarekar, while a vote of thanks was
proposed by Nitin Bagdi. Thousands of peoples from Jalna district and around
attended the events. UNI
