Mandi,
Nov 2: Veteran BJP leader and chief ministerial candidate from Himachal
Pradesh Prem Kumar Dhumal on Thursday mocked at Virbhadra Singh, who, he
alleged, after foreseeing miserable defeat of Congress party had started
promising moon to voters under panic.
Prof Dhumal reminded him to refresh his memory and verify that as many as 109 promises made in his manifesto before the last elections had not been fulfilled.
He has ditched the youths of the state by not paying unemployment pension while crore of rupees were wasted by reemploying retired officers personally loyal to him and rehabilitating defeated politicians at the cost of the state exchequer of Himachal Pradesh which was not yet economically viable.
He strongly pleaded that a law be made to restrain the politicians for restraining them from making false promises by bringing it under the ambit of “breach of trust” under the Indian Penal Code.
The state BJP president has described the Congress party manifesto as a bunch of lies. UNI
