DDC Pulwama inspects National Highway upgradation works

          PULWAMA, NOVEMBER 04: The District Development Commissioner Pulwama, Ghulam Mohammad Dar to inspected upgradation works on Srinagar- Jammu National Highway from Pampore to Awantipora stretch.

          The DDC was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, ADC Awantipora, Tehsildar Awantipora, Engineers of RAMKY and other concerned.

          On the occasion, the DDC was apprised about the works undertaken by the executing agency RAMKY including construction of bridges, culverts, macadamization, upgradation and construction of dividers on the National Highway.

          He was informed that maximum portion of the work on the National Highway has been completed and work on the bridge at Awantipora is expected to be completed by next month.

          The District Development Commissioner stressed upon executing agency to speed up the work on the said portion of the National Highway by utilizing all available men and machinery so that the completion of remained bridge and culverts is completed within stipulated time.
