BHADERWAH, NOVEMBER10: An
awareness camp was organized by the District Legal Services Authority under the
chairmanship of Principal District & Session Judge Bhaderwah M.K
Sharma.

Bhaderwah, Arun Kumar Kotwal, SPL Mobile Magistrate Bhaderwah besides D.K
Gupta, President District Bar Association Bhaderwah, SDPO Bhaderwah, members of
the bar, retainer lawyers, litigants and prominent citizens of Bhaderwah town
were present in the programme.
Advocate C.K Gupta gave a detailed account of different provisions of
Legal Services Act and various welfare schemes, so as to raise awareness among
the masses and enable them to claim and avail these benefits as a matter of
right. Special focus was laid on avenues to amicably settle petty disputes
through different schemes provided under Legal Services Authority Act.
M.K Sharma, Chairman DLSA Bhaderwah impressed upon the Tehsil Legal
Service Committees to organize such programmes regularly by involving all the
stake holders so that the benefits of these schemes percolate to the deserving
and needy at the ground level. He appreciated the pragmatic approach of the members of the bar
and other participants in making the awareness camp a great success.
