Kolkata, Nov 25: The national-level handicrafts fair, SARAS Mela, began on November 24 at Central Park in Salt Lake, to continue till December 4.
The fair is organised by the Bengal Government’s Panchayats and Rural Development Department. Handicrafts from across India are available here. People in Bengal being cultural-minded, handicrafts fairs in Kolkata are always popular. The fair has already drawn hundreds of people. This fair will be held in Siliguri too in January. UNI
