Six people died in a head on collision between two cars

Chitradurga, Karnataka, Nov 25: Six people were killed on the spot and seven others injured when two cars collided head on at  Metikurke Village in Hiriyur taluk in the District today.

Police said that one car was coming to the town from Bengaluru when, due to tyre burst, the driver lost control and first hit the divider and collided with another car coming in the opposite direction. The deceased are yet to be identified. The injured were admitted to hospital and there is possibility of increase in the death toll as more than 4 people were seriously injured. UNI
