Nov 14: A professor of the North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) has been
placed under suspension for allegedly sending an inappropriate text message to
a female student of the university.
S.C. Srivastava of the department of Rural Development and Agriculture Production (RDAP), has been put under suspension from Thursday after the student filed a case of sexual harassment against him with the university authorities. “He has been placed under suspension pending investigation,” NEHU Vice Chancellor, S.K.Srivastava said.
