Bengal govt fanalises a plan for a ‘Green and Clean’ Mukutmanipur

Kolkata, Dec 26: The state government has finalised a plan to ensure a clean image 

for Mukutmanipur, one of the most popular spots for both tourists and picnickers in the state. 
It is located in the Khatra subdivision of Bankura district.
The plan – Green and Clean Mukutmanipur – includes augmentation of infrastructure 
and beautification of the city. Among the purposes for which the fund would be used is beautification of the area around the Kansavati Dam. 
Funds have already been approved for strengthening the bituminous road link between Mukutmanipur and Barughutu, the official sources here today said.
The government has accorded priority to Mukutmaniupur for holistic development, 
considering its tourism potential. This was one of the reasons for the creation of the
