New Delhi, Dec 20: Delhiites walked into another winter morning beginning with fog and mist on
Wednesday with the minimum temperature settling at 9.6 degrees C, two notches
above normal for the season.
At least 20 trains were delayed, two rescheduled while 15
cancelled due to low visibility in the early hours and other operational
reasons.
The Sun came up amidst shallow fog, while the relative humidity was 88 per cent at 0830 hrs, the weatherman said.
However, the air quality in the national capital deteriorated falling under 'very poor' category with index value of 339 at 1000 hrs, as per the Central Pollution Control Board.
Sky is likely to remain partly cloudy with the maximum temperature during the day hovering around 24 degrees C, according to the Met official.
On Tuesday, the maximum temperature settled at 23.7 degrees C, a notch above normal for the season. UNI
