SRINAGAR, DECEMBER 23: JKPCC Chairman
Khalid Jahangir today announced the Corporation will hand over the new
Ganderbal district hospital building to the Health Department soon.
The Chairman announced this during his visit to inspect the ongoing
construction work of the hospital.
He said that the present government is focussed on improving the health sector
in the State, adding constructing of a new district hospital in Ganderbal was
the priority of the present dispensation.
The Chairman said the construction of new hospital will lessen the burden of
the old district hospital. On this occasion, he congratulated the engineers for
their efficient work in the hospital construction.
Later, JKPCC Chairman also inspected the Convent-GPO footbridge in Srinagar,
which will be commissioned shortly.
He said the aim to construct the bridge is to increase the connectivity, and
once made operational it will help people to cross Raj Bagh and Lal Chowk
quickly and easily.
JKPCC Chairman was flanked by various officials of his department during his
visit.
