Dec 1: Terrorists disguised in burqas stormed the hostel of Peshawar's
Agricultural Training Institute Friday morning and killed at least nine people
and wounded 37 others.
The number of casualties is expected to increase as a
clearance operation is underway.Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Dawn news quoted Hayatabad Medical Complex Director Shahzad Akbar as saying that six dead and 18 injured had been brought to the hospital.
Khyber Teaching Hospital sources said they had received three bodies and 17 wounded.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police said all terrorists have been neutralised after a "successful clearance operation" by security forces.
But the number of attackers remains unclear as conflicting claims come in from various quarters.
Dawn said it has received reports that there were three to five attackers. UNI
