Delhi, Dec 23: Enforcement Directorate (ED)on Saturday filed a charge
sheet against Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad's daughter Misa Bharti,
her husband Shailesh Kumar and several others in a money laundering case.
The charge sheet filed by ED counsel Nitesh Rana before the
court of Special Judge N K Malhotra pertains to Misa and her husband’s role in
a firm Mishail Printers and Packers whose operations allegedly violated
provisions of the 2002 Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).ED had earlier attached a Delhi farmhouse in connection with its money laundering probe against Bharti and her husband.
The agency had also conducted raids at this location as part of its probe against two businessmen brothers, Surendra Kumar Jain and Virendra Jain. UNI
