Prez condoles loss of lives in Mumbai pub fire

New Delhi, Dec 29: President Ram Nath Kovind expressed grief over the loss of 15 lives in a massive fire in a Mumbai building late Thursday night.

'Disturbing news about the fire in Mumbai. Condolences to the bereaved families and wishing the injured an early recovery,' the President tweeted.
Fifteen people have died in the fire that broke out on late Thursday night in a pub situated on the Kamla Mills building's roof, reportedly during a birthday party.
The President also wished speedy recovery to 23 people who were injured and commended the efforts of fire fighters involved in the rescue operation.
'Wishing the injured an early recovery. Commend the valiant efforts of fire-fighters and those in rescue ops,' he added. UNI
