Mumbai, Dec 13: The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday recovered by
118.54 points to 33,346.53 on fresh buying was seen across the board.
The Nifty of National Stocks Exchange (NSE) gained by 42.95 points
to 10,283.10.
The sensex registered intra day high and low at 33,362.92 and 33,123.44 respectvely.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 10,290.05 and 10,210.55 respectively.
Sectoral indices like FMCG, Finance, Industrials, IT and Bankex pushed the market up in early trade.
The gainers were ONGC by 1.31 pc to Rs 185.35, Kotak Bank by 1.12 pc to Rs 1011.80, Hero MotoCorp by 1.05 pc to Rs 3481 and Bharti Airtel by 0.93 pc to Rs 528.80.
The losers were Adani Ports by 1.08 pc to Rs 397.25, ICICI Bank by 0.80 pc to Rs 304.95, Powergrid by 0.79 pc to Rs 201.40 and ITC by 0.21 pc to Rs 261. UNI
