New Delhi, Dec 21: Delhiites woke up to a smoggy winter morning on Thursday with the minimum temperature settling at 12 degrees C, four notches above normal for the season.
The air quality here deteriorated further and fell under 'severe' category with the AQI value of 451 at 1000 hrs, according to the Central Pollution Control Board.
Due to the low visibility, 15 trains got cancelled , 11 were rescheduled while 30 got delayed here.
The maximum temperature during the day is likely to hover around 23 degrees C, while the sky will remain partly cloudy, the weatherman said.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature settled at 21.4 degrees C, a notch below normal for the season. UNI
