bereaved family at Rajbagh
SRINAGAR,
JANUARY 06: Minister for Education, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari today visited
Rajbagh residence of ex-legislator Muhammad Akhter Nizami, who passed away at a
hospital here on Wednesday after a brief spell of illness.
He
said that Nizami was a veteran leader who was known for his socio-political
activities and was popular for his innate etiquettes and socialization with
friends.
Recalling
the contribution of the deceased, Bukhari termed Nizami as a great social
worker who had a vast base comprising people of different shades of opinion.
“Everybody
who knew him is saddened by his demise. We offer our deepest condolences to the
bereaved family and friends at such a difficult time,” Bukhari observed.
Bukhari prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and endurance to the
bereaved family.
Meanwhile,
the Minister for Education also visited Solina Rambagh to offer condolences to
social worker Mohammad Afzal, on the demise of his son-in-law and later visited
the residence of Ghulam Ahmad Ganaie who passed away at Hakim Bagh in Rawalpora
recently.
Bukhari prayed for an eternal peace to the departed
souls and extended solidarity with the bereaved families.
