IPPI action plan finalized at Baramulla

BARAMULLA, JANUARY 20: District Development Commissioner, Dr. Nasir Ahmad Naqash today chaired a meeting of District Task Force To review the preparedness of Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) round-1, action plan in the district.

Joint Director Planning A.G Malik, Chief Medical Officer Dr Bashir Ahmad Chalkoo, Project Officer ICDS, Ashiq Hussain Lilly, Deputy Chief Medical Officer,  District Immunization Officer Dr Shabir Ahmad Pathan, DMEIO, G.R. Bhat, BMO’s and various other Officers were present in the meeting.

The meeting was informed that during the programme, 157326 children below the age of 5 years will be administered vaccines on January 28th.

It was also apprised that 858 vaccination booths have been set up across the ten blocks of the district consisting 1716 teams and 3423 team members including Health workers, ASHA workers, ICDS workers and teachers.

Besides, involving Masjid committees, transit camps for railway stations and bus addas and mobile teams have also been constituted for the purpose.
