Sh. Madhu ParamHans Ji Maharaj delivered his holy sermons to the followers at Satwari Chowk, Jammu

Jammu, Jan: Sh. Madhu Param Hansji Maharaj, the spiritual head of Sahib Bandgi panth, while delivering his holy sermons to the followers at Satwari Chowk, Jammu, said that God resides within everyone though none is able to realize His presence. After all, what is the reason thereof? This very question was put to Vasdev by Arjun as well. He said, “If God resides within, why is not man in a position to realize Him.” Vasdev replied, “O Arjun! that God is not a subject matter related to our Karma Geyanendriyas. None can sight him with the help of these gross Indriyas. Just as the ears can hear but not see because seeing is not their job in the same manner, the Karam Geyanendriyas possess the power to perform outward visible jobs alone. These can’t help us in the realization of God. Also He is not the subject matter of four subtle inner Indriyas.” These Indriyas are invisible & as such, are called as subtle. We perform many jobs with these Indriyas (Munn, intellect, remembrance & ego) but these can’t help us in the realization of God. Our Munn expresses desire. The intellect makes the needed planning for the purpose.

          But how can we know whether our intellect has been working in a right manner or not? Sometimes, our decisions prove wrong. Sometimes, some other fellow points out the wrongs committed by us. In fact, it is not easy to know whether the intellect is doing right or wrong. Suppose we slap a person & the fellow gets the FIR registered against us. Then we think we ought not have behaved like that. Had we known earlier, we would have shown hesitation in slapping the fellow.

          All of you have seen a mask. It hides our real appearance & gives us an unreal one. But while speaking, it is not the mask but the person behind who speaks. Likewise, the Munn, intellect, remembrance & ego also behave like a mask. The soul also possesses an intellect that is a rare one. Our own intellect works with the power supplied by this rare intellect. Our physical eyes also get the power to see through the inner eyes of  the soul. If someone turns blind, the people ask him to see through his inner eyes. The fellow performs many tasks with the help of these eyes. In the same manner, a dumb also speaks through his soul. The shadow of the memory of the soul has been falling on our gross memory. So to say the mouth of the soul itself is making the gross mouth perform its task. You can know of it, if you throw away your mask. It is in this connection that Vasdev says to Arjun, “Though this soul has no hands, it can perform work in all the directions.” That is to say, it has the power to see, to hear & to do other kinds of jobs. It clearly shows that it has the power of remembrance as well.

          All the plays are imperfect without the soul. You think you will go to God & know about His appearance. The fact is that you know Him.
