Kolkata, Jan 5: Bengal will get her own State logo today.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will officially
unveil the logo today.
The West Bengal Government had applied for a State logo in the month of May in 2017.
The official clearance has been received in this new year.
The Chief Minister has herself designed Bengal’s logo. It features ‘Biswa Bangla’ logo along with Ashoka Pillar. All government documents will now feature this logo.
Incidentally, the Chief Minister has also come up with logos for various government schemes like Kanyashree, Sabuj Sathi and Gatidhara. UNI
