Biswa Dooars Utsav bigger and better this year

Kolkata, Jan 5: The Biswa Dooars Utsav is bigger and better in 2018. 

It started on December 29 at Parade Ground in Alipurduar and will continue till January 7, 2018.

Bhutanese mask dancers have been invited. This is a the biggest attraction this year. Besides, freedom fighters involved in Bangladesh’s war of independence, commonly called muktijoddhas, have been invited. 
Another new aspect of this year’s Dooars Utsav is the inclusion of sportspersons from the Dooars region.
The festival has four stages – the main stage for the important performances, and three more for folk artistes, for child performers (Shishu Mancha), and for quiz competitions and symposia. UNI
