SHOPIAN, JANUARY 15: -
District Development Commissioner Shopian Mohammed Aijaz Asad today convened a
meeting to review the implementation of Chief Minister’s directions.
The meeting was attended by ACR
Shopian, Divisional Sports Officer, Sports Council J&K Srinagar, District
Youth Services and sports officer Shopian and other concerned officers.
The DDC sought a detailed report about
the land availability at Keller, Keegam, Zainapora and Gatipora for the
construction of sports stadium.
During the meeting, Executive Engineer
Sports Council briefed the chair that DPRs have been prepared and submitted for
the construction of playgrounds at all the four locations.
The DDC also directed the concerned for
accelerating the pace of work and emphasized on coordination between the line
departments to avoid any delay in the execution of work.
He directed the manager JKPCC to start
the execution of the various work in respect of proposed Indoor Stadium at
Arhama.
