JAMMU JANUARY 16- Chairperson
State Social Welfare Board Dr.Nirmal Gupta today visited Sunrise Public School
at Channi Himmat , Jammu.
While interacting with the students, Dr. Nirmal Gupta
enquired
about the facilities being provided to them.
On this occasion, Dr. Gupta provided Rs. 10,000/- to the
students for their study materials.
Speaking on this occasion, Dr. Nirmal Gupta said that Sunrise
Public School was started in year 2012 with 10 students only who came from slum
areas and now its total strength is upto 150 students. The school is providing
free education, free uniform and refreshment to all the students.
A team of doctors from Medanta was also present there to
provide free medical check up to the students in the school.
