Delhi, Jan 4: While welcoming the choice of Sanjay Singh as Aam Aadmi
party nominee for the Rajya Sabha polls in Delhi, senior BJP leader and
Bollywood actor Shatrughan Sinha expressed surprise on exclusion of AAP veteran
Kumar Vishwas and Ashutosh from the list.
Noting that the AAP choice of Sushil Gupta and N D Gupta
reflected the influence of 'money power ',as against 'people 'S power ', the
BJP leader said he did not expect this from Kejriwal. 'AAP RS Nominations : While welcoming the candidature of
Sanjay Singh to RS, I feel sorry for our friend, poet, social activist, highly
able & capable Dr Kumar Vishwas . Surprised to also not see the name of Ashutosh the
intellectual journalist.....Time & again we have seen the influence of
Dhanshakti over Janshakti & caste based choice by all political parties
including ours, for selection of Rajya Sabha candidates. However it was never
ever expected from The People's Party & The Man of Principles &
Credibility, Kejriwal,' Shatrughan said. The Aam aadmi yesterday selected Sanjay Singh, former Congressman Sushil Gupta and businessman N D Gupta as its nominees for the January 16 biennial election to the three Rajya Sabha seats in Delhi. The selection of sushil Gupta and N D Gupta has evoked a lot of criticism in political circles. UNI
