Delhi/Panaji, Jan 3: A MiG-29 K aircraft of the Indian Navy went off the runway and crashed on Wednesday.
However, the under-trainee pilot ejected safely. Three flights were diverted after the crash.
"A MiG-29 K aircraft with an under-trainee pilot went off runway while taking off at the Goa Airport. Fire on the aircraft is being extinguished," the Indian Navy said in a statement.
Goa airport operates from the Indian Naval base INS Hansa. UNI
