KUPWARA,
JANUARY 23:
District Election Officer, Khalid Jahangir today convened a meeting to finalize
arrangements for 8th National Voters Day celebration.
The
Day is being observed on January 25.
The
main function would be held at Town Hall Kupwara for Kupwara and Lolab
constituency, Town Hall Handwara for Handwara and Langat Constituency, SDO
office for Lolab (Sogam) and Karnah areas.
The
theme of the Day is ‘Empowering
Young and Future Voters’
during which the district administration is going to issue EPICS among new
voters.
To
listen to the election experts, the general public, electorates, civil society
members, youth organizations, panchayat members, NGOs and senior citizens have
been asked to participate at the nearest venues on the scheduled day and time.
