Panchayat election training for ROs, AROs concludes at Ganderbal

GANDERBAL, JANUARY 16: The Second phase of Panchayat election training for Returning Officers (ROs) and Assistant Returning Officers (AROs) of district Ganderbal concluded here today.

District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Dr. Piyush Singla, who is also District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO) chaired the concluding session.

Speaking on the occasion, the DPEO stressed upon the officers to make the training programme more vibrant and active and comprehend fully the training manual.  He also asked them to take part in the third phase of training also which is scheduled to be held onJanuary 21 and 22. On the occasion, it was informed that the District has total 967 Panch constituencies and 125 Panchayat halqas.
