Mumbai, Jan 10: The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday reacehd an
all-time-high at 34,538.78 advancing by 98 points as brisk buying in Capital
Goods, Energy, Industrials
and Utilities stocks.
The Nifty of National Stocks Exchange (NSE) rose by 15 points to 10,652.05.
The sensex registered intra day high and low at 34,565.63 and 34,418.89 respectvely.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 10,655.50 and 10,623.40 respectively.
Sectoral indices like Capital Goods, Energy, Health Care, Telecom and Utilities kept the market firm in early trade. The scrips that rose were Adani Ports by 1.35 pc to Rs 425, Coal India by 1.28 pc to Rs 307.95, ONGC by 0.84 pc to Rs 198.55 and Bharti Airtel by 0.53 pc to Rs 512.70. The losers were Tata Steel by 1.06 pc to Rs 764.10, Asian Paints by 1.06 pc to Rs 1179.25, Dr Reddy's Lab by 0.75 pc to Rs 2440 and SBIN by 0.58 pc to Rs 302.50. UNI
