Jan 19: US Deputy Secretary of State John J Sullivan is travelling to New
York on Friday to participate in a ministerial-level, United Nations Security
Council meeting on “Building Regional Partnership in Afghanistan and Central
Asia as a Model to Link Security and Development.”
According to a media note issued here on Thursday by Office
of the Spokesperson, Department of State, the meeting will be chaired by
Kazakhstan, which currently holds the Security Council presidency. The Deputy Secretary will also hold bilateral meetings with participating ministers from UNSC member states and the region. UNI
