New Delhi, Jan 5: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Kumar Vishwas on Friday lashed out at party's Delhi convenor Gopal Rai over his allegation that the former had ``conspired' against the Kejriwal government to pull it down.
Reacting sharply to the remarks here, Mr. Vishwas said 'Let Mr. Rai first enjoy the perks received.'
"Abhi toh anand lain, maze lain. Kafi cheezen andar ayi hai. Unka maaze uthayein (Enjoy the things that have come),' he told reporters when asked about the remarks.
Mr Vishwas, who was ignored by the party for party's Rajya Sabha nominations, asked Mr Rai to enjoy the company of the two turncoat AAP Rajya Sabha nominees-- Sushil Gupta and N D Gupta.
He said, "Gopal Rai, who is a Minister, MLA, PAC member, in charge of five states, Delhi convenor and national spokesman used to refer to party workers as 'Mir Jafar'. Today, seven months later he has awoken up to make some comments, from which the party has distanced itself.'
On Wednesday, after the party announced the names of Sanjay Singh and Sushil Gupta and N D Gupta for the Rajya Sabha, a disappointed Mr Vishwas had said he had been ``sacrificed' by the party leadership.
The three AAP candidates filed their nomination yesterday. The last for withdrawal is January 8 and election is on January 16. The AAP has a majority in the 70-member Delhi Assembly and its candidates are all set to win. UNI
