New Delhi, Feb 27: Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang will undertake a three-day visit to India
at the invitation of President Ram Nath Kovind, starting from March 2, the
Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced here on Tuesday.
The issue of South China Sea is also likely to be discussed
during the President's visit to India.
Mr Quang will visit Bodh Gaya, one of the revered Buddhist sacred sites.
The visit will "further deepen" Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and Vietnam, the MEA said in a statement here.
During his visit, Mr Quang will be meeting, the President Mr Kovind and will be holding talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will call on Mr Quang.
The visiting dignitary will be accompanied by Mrs Nguyen Thi Hien, an official delegation, including Ministers and party leaders, and also a business delegation. UNI
