Chennai, Feb 13: India's Vikram Malhotra annexed his sixth PSA title when he won the Atlanta
Metal Open World Series Squash tourney held at Atlanta in US.
A release from SRFI on Tuesday said the second seeded Indian
upset top seed Mohamed Reda of Egypt 12-10, 11-9, 15-13 in straight sets to
make it a memorable outing.
The win was even more significant for the US-based Vikaram as he had to struggle in the semi-final against a qualifier Edgar Zayas of Mexico.
Vikram managed to wear down the Mexican 8-11, 11-3, 11-6, 9-11, 11-8 in a tense five-set thriller, before capping it with a fine win in the final. UNI
