KUPWARA,
MARCH 3: The District Development Commissioner
(DDC) Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir today reviewed the process achieved under Swatch
Bharat Mission (SBM) and Border Area Development programmes (BADP).
The meeting was informed that Tangdār,
Machil, Keran, Langate, Teetwal, Drugmulla, Trehgam, Nutnussa, Kupwara and
Sogam shall be declared as ODF (open defecation free) by 31st of
March 2018. It was also stated that under BADP 11 Composite Model Villages are
developed by way of infrastructure development in R&B, PHE, PDD and I&FC sectors. The action plans have already
been approved and work on all the sectors is in an active process.
Chief Planning Officer Kupwara Imtiyaz Ahmad,
Assistant Commissioner Development Kupwara, Yar Ali Khan were also present in
the meeting.
The District Development Commissioner impressed
upon all the executing and implementing agencies to achieve the progress under
the programmes. The concerned agencies were asked to gear-up their field
functionaries and expedite the works under their execution for completion
within the stipulated time frame. He also emphasized upon the concerned to
upload their daily based data on MIS besides Geo-Tagging of assets be also
done.
