Panaji, Mar 20: Union Minister for Shipping Nitin Gadkari on Monday held a meeting with the
party legislators and ministers at a hotel in the city.
The meeting was also atteneded by Union Minister for AYUSH
Shripad Naik and Bharatiya Janata Party Goa unit President Vinay Tendulkar.
According to sources, the rumours about leadership change due to illness of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar was brought to the notice of Mr Gadkari.
The meeting also discussed mining issue and forthcoming celebration of the 38th Foundation Day of the party on April 6, 2018.
The union minister is expected to meet mining stakeholders in the state on Tuesday. He is also likely to meet leaders of coalition partners Goa Forward Party and Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP). UNI
