UDHAMPUR, MARCH-03:- Minister of State for Finance, Planning, IT,
Law, Justice, Parliamentary Affairs, CA&PD, Relief and Rehabilitation,
Labour and Employment Ajay Nanda who is also the Chairman of Rogi Kalyan Samiti
(RKS) today chaired a meeting of Governing body of Rogi Kalyan Samiti
(RKS) of Primary
Health Centres of block Panchari and
Tikri (PHCs) at Dak Bunglow Udhampur.
The Minister reviewed the physical and financial
status of Primary Health Centre of block Panchari and emphasized upon the
hospital management that healthcare of the people is top most priority of the
Government and also stressed upon the management to give best medical care to
the poor and needy people of the area.
Stressing for special attention towards sanitation
and cleanliness in the hospital, he assured every possible help for the
up-gradation of infrastructure and better health services in primary health
centres so that people may not suffer any more.
During the meeting, several issues pertaining to
developmental works and infrastructure needed for the Primary Health Centres
were discussed in the meeting including shortage of staff, Implementation of
NPHCE and National Programme for Control of Diabetes, Stroke, Hypertension and
CVD diseases, up-gradation of OPD Services, laboratory and blood bank, X-ray,
USG, CT Scan, emergency and casualty.
Besides this, various other issues were brought
under discussion including out sourcing of sanitation and security, approval
for diet, bio-medical waste disposal and construction of bio-medical waste
dumping shed maintenance of PHCs
building etc.
Earlier, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Udhampur Dr.
Santosh Sharma gave a detailed resume of the previous developmental and
procurement and put forth new demands urgently required for the welfare of the
patients and the smooth functioning of the primary health centre.
Among others, Deputy Chief Medical Officer,
Udhampur Dr. Santosh Sharma, Tehsildar Moungri, Amit Verma, Block Medical
Officers, Block Panchari and Tikri and other officers of concerned department
were present on the occasion.
