Mumbai, Mar 8: The Rupee on Thursday declined by three paise to 64.91 against the greenback in early trade on increased demand of US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at Forex Market said. Rupee registered intra day's high and low at 65.00 and 64.90 respectively, dealers said.
Strong dollar against other world currencies amid foreign fund outflow put pressure on rupee, they added.
However postive opening in the domestic equity market limited the rupee fall
Yesterday, it had gained 7 paise to close at a one-week high of 64.88 against the US currency due to sustained dollar selling by exporters and banks. UNI
