Speaker visits SDM Office Gadigarh, takes stock of people’s concerns

Directs for expediting work on pending PRC applications

JAMMU, MARCH  12- Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Kavinder Gupta, today visited the office of SDM at Lower Gadigarh, Jammu where a camp had been organized to take up the pending applications for PRC Certificates for completion.

Appreciating the SDM office for taking up these cases for early completion, the Speaker said that a lot of people have suffered in the past for lack of PRC certificate. He said that efforts are on to ensure greater transparency in public administration so that common populace does not have to suffer. He asked the newly appointed SDM Officer Kulbushan Khajuria to continue these efforts and organize more such camps for greater public convenience.

The Speaker also interacted with the people present and enquired about the purpose of their visit and the difficulties, if any, being faced by them in these offices.

He asked the SDM to take special care as to ensure presence of a senior officer in the office so that people do not face unnecessary delays in getting their issues addressed.
