Training workshop for revenue officers, officials on SBM

UDHAMPUR, MARCH 15-  A workshop for effective implementation of Swachh Bharat Mission, (SBM) was organised by district administration for revenue officials under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Ravinder Kumar, here today.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner said there is need to create mass awareness among people to stop open defecation and exhorted upon the field functionaries of revenue departments to play a proactive role in effective implementation of Swachh Bharat Mission at the grass root level.

 He further said that seven blocks have been selected in the first phase in the districts and   every district officer has been allotted one Panchayat in this regard.

 Among others, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Krishan Lal, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Subash Dogra, Assistant Commissioner Development, Angrez Singh, Chief Medical Officer, Dr.K.C Dogra, Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Shamsher Singh, Block Development Officer, Udhampur Rupali Vaid, and other officers of different departments were present on the occasion.
