Srinagar, Apr 25: Kashmiri migrants living outside Jammu and Kashmir since their migration in early 90s due to eruption of militancy will now get Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) in New Delhi from Wednesday.
An official spokesman said that the Special Cell for migrants has kick-started issuance of PRC for Kashmiri migrants in Delhi. 
This step has been reinitiated after a gap of 2 years and the Cell is receiving overwhelming response from the migrant community, he said.
He said so far, more than 100 applicants have approached the Special Cell for issuance of PRC’s which would start from today.
This special cell has also asked Kashmiri Migrants from other cities of the country to approach this office for mitigation of their issues. The issuance of registration cards of family members has also been taken up with the Government of NCT of Delhi. UNI
