Srinagar, Apr 26 : A civilian was killed when militants attacked a Road Opening Party (ROP) of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in south Kashmir district of Anantnag, police spokesman said.
A civilian identified as Shafeeq Shabir Shah, a residen of Shopian, was injured who was admitted to hospital. The injured later succumbed, official sources said.
He said entire area has been cordoned off and a massive operation has been launched to nab the militants.
