BARAMULLA, APRIL 9: Department
of Animal Husbandry Baramulla today organized a distribution camp here.
During the camp, District Development Commissioner
(DDC) Dr Nasir Ahmad Naqash distributed feed
mineral mixture and other necessary medicines worth Rs
2.5 lakh among 100 destitute women for the proper domestication of
their lactating and pregnant cattle.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC highlighted
various features of the programme and said that agriculture and allied sectors
including animal husbandry has a lot of potential to generate employment
avenues. He said that there is a need to harness that potential and urged
people especially unemployed youth to adopt it as a means of livelihood.
