5: Railway will run biweekly special fare special trains to clear extra
rush of passengers.
The Special trains will be operated in the Tambaram-Kollam
sector via Madurai, Tenkasi, Punalur, from April 9 to June 27 and
Kollam-Tambaram sector from April 10 to June 28.
The Tambaram – Kollam biweekly special fare special trains will run on Mondays and Wednesdays. It will leave Tambaram at 1730 hrs and reach Kollam Jn at 1030 hrs on the next day.
The Kollam – Tambaram biweekly special fare special trains will be operated on Tuesdays and Thursdays and it will leave Kollam at 1300 hrs and reach Tambaram at 0505 hrs on the next day.
Meanwhile, the Nagercoil-Mangalore Ernad express scheduled to leave Nagercoil Jn at 0200 hrs will depart late by 80 minutes and start at 0320 hrs on April 5, 7 and 10, to facilitate line block for track maintenance at Vadakara station yard in Palakkad division, a Railway Release said. UNI
