Jammu April 27 : J&K BJP State Scheduled Tribe (ST) Morcha led by its State President Dr. Tahir Chowdhary along with senior BJP leader & State Incharge BJP Training Department Rajeev Charak and other social and political activists visited Rekha village in a move to extend the party good governance policy to every section.
The BJP leaders gave a patient hearing to the problems being suffered by the community. Leaders promoted the two way interaction between the locals from the Gujjar community, so as to have a clear viewpoint of the aspirations of the community.
Dr. Tahir assured the community members that the BJP stands in full support for the basic rights of the Gujjar community. He said that the BJP is the only political party in the Nation that has addressed the issues concerning the community with true efforts, whereas the other political parties have exploited the community on one pretext or another since decades. He added that due to the constant concern shown by the BJP for the community, it seems that a deep conspiracy has been hatched by some black sheep to create a wedge between the peace loving communities.
He also enlisted many community friendly central government schemes initiated under the patronage of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the welfare of the community. He also said that the BJP stands committed for the extension of all benefits to the state as well, so that the community could be benefitted at grass root level.
Rajeev Charak, while addressing the community members, emphasized on the fact that the community has long history of Nationalism. And due to this very fact, certain elements, who are on their agenda to extend venomous atmosphere to Jammu region have failed time and again. He expressed hope that all the communities of the region will thwart the ill designs of such malicious elements.
Hardesh Khoker, Malook Ali, Siraj Din, Liaqat Ali Ch Pappi, Faqar Din, Mumtaz Bibi, Manho Bibi, Kali Bibi and others were among the prominent persons who were present in the programme.
