GANDERBAL, APRIL 06: - District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal, Dr
Piyush Singla today urged the people, especially living in Ganderbal to
maintain peace and tranquility in the district.
He also assured that inquiry committee headed by
Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal has been constituted to investigate
Gowher Ahmad Rather firing case. “The committee will
submit report within the stipulated time and there will be complete
transparency so that culprits will be taken to the task,”
he said.
He said the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti visited
the deceased family for condolences on April 5 and assured them every possible
help, besides, stern action against the culprit.
The DDC said that the investigation is going on and
the action under law will be taken against the culprit. He said the need of the
hour is to maintain peace.
